Visual Studio has a very flexible layout. You can dock tool windows in your preferred locations for easy access. Sometimes you need to undock a window, for example to move it to another display. Other times, you may accidentally undock one. Re-docking by dragging can be tricky. Fortunately, there is a quick way to return a window to its previous docked position.
Press Ctrl and double-click on the title bar of the window:
